Katie – Good day. I was Googling Asian horse paintings and found this image. Might you have any information on the Asian horse brush painting on this blog? I would be most grateful for anything you could tell me about it. My late parents were gifted a pair of such horse paintings (apparently by the same artist) many many years ago by a late relative who was an art dealer. Thank you.

Hello Emil and thank you for your comment. I love this image, but there was no information on it when I picked it up from a “free image” site. I wish, as you do, that I knew more about it, because I love how it captures the spirit of the horse at rest. How wonderful that your parents received a pair of horse paintings apparently by the same artist. I would love to see photos of them! If you do find out more, somehow, please come back and share it with us here.
